Steps to getting your moles mapped:

  • Our lovely Melanographer, Celine, who is an Registered Nurse, has been trained by the Australiasian College of Dermatologists to become a trained melanographer. This means she can map out your moles, take photographs with specialised cameras and then send the images to our broader team of Dermatologists. These dermatologist including Dr Sharma, are trained to review the photos, and determine if they are skin cancer or just benign moles
  • You are then given a report and if there is a potential for melanoma, Celine can expedite your review with Dr Sharma. This means you do not have to wait 3 months to see Dr Sharma as Celine has the authority to get in you in earlier.
