Meet Our Nurse Melanographer
At our dermatology clinic, you will be seeing our experienced female Nurse Melanographer for your TBP session. She is specially trained in capturing high-quality images for thorough skin assessments, ensuring your comfort and privacy throughout the process.
What to Expect During Your TBP Session
- Private and Safe Environment: Your TBP session will be conducted in a private and safe space to ensure your comfort and confidentiality.
- Comprehensive Imaging: A series of 25-26 body shots will be taken in various positions to provide a complete baseline of your skin.
- Personal Copy of Images: The photos will be downloaded onto a USB stick for you to keep. We do not retain these images on our database. It is your responsibility to keep the USB safe, and we strongly advise saving a backup folder on your device in case it is misplaced or lost.
Appointment and Cancellation Policy
- Cost: The cost for a TBP session is $200.
- Booking Fee: A booking fee is required to secure your TBP session.
- Cancellation Policy: Failure to attend or cancellation less than 24 hours before your appointment will result in the loss of your booking fee.

What to Expect from a Nurse-Led Lesion Check
Please note that you will see a Nurse for this appointment, not a Dermatologist. There is no rebate for this appointment; therefore, a referral is not required.
Scope of the Appointment
- Lesion Focus: This appointment is designed to check 1-3 lesions of direct patient or GP concern, or 3-5 lesions. Please identify the specific lesions you want to be checked as this is not a full skin check, and we will not choose the lesions for you.
- Suspicious Lesions: If any of the lesions are deemed suspicious or require removal, we will arrange an in-person review with our Dermatologist. A referral is recommended for this follow-up appointment to ensure you receive a Medicare rebate.

- Cost: The cost is $80 for 1-3 lesions and $130 for 3-5 lesions.
- Booking Fee: A booking fee is required to secure your appointment.
- Cancellation Policy: Failure to show up or cancellation less than 24 hours before your appointment will result in the loss of your booking fee.
- Please note medicare rebate will not be available for this service.
