Inside out Dermatology is located in Melbourne’s northern suburb of Preston, in close proximity to Thornbury, Brunswick, Brunswick West, Clifton Hill, Fitzroy, Bellfield, Heidelberg, Alphington, Fairfield, Northcote, North Fitzroy and Coburg.
We also serve a large referral base from various regions. From the North this includes Reservoir, Bundoora, Mill Park, Lalor, Thomastown, and South Morang. Fawkner, Essendon, Moonee Ponds in the West. Rosanna and Ivanhoe in the East as well as Melbourne City, Carlton, Abbotsford, and Collingwood in the South.

Photo Dermatology
We offer full body and hand/foot NBUVB therapy (Narrow Band Ultraviolet B) to all our patients. There are no gap fees for this service, but an initial assessment by a dermatologist will be required to assess suitability. If no referral or assessment is obtained, full charges will apply.
Procedural /Surgical Dermatology
Our dermatologists will consider a number of treatment options for you with the preference for the least invasive and most effective option first. There are, however, some conditions that require surgery or a procedure such as those listed below.
- Skin cancer and melanoma surgical excisions including the use of flaps/grafts where applicable
- Skin lesion removal
- Removal of benign moles and benign lesions for cosmesis
- Biopsies of rashes and skin lesions
- Curettage (skin scraping) of lesions
- Cautery/hyfrecator treatments for skin lesions
- Cryotherapy using liquid nitrogen for benign and cancerous skin lesions
Laser Dermatology
Dr Sharma is trained in laser treatments for removal of birthmarks of children as well as red marks, pigmentary marks and others in adults.
A consulation with Dr Sharma will be required to determine the best treatment option for you. We treat both vascular (red) and pigment lesions in the clinic.
Cosmetic Dermatology
Certain cosmetics treatments are being introduced into the clinic including relaxers and fillers. Please enquire with our staff for more information. This website will be updated once those services are added.
