About Dr Niyati Sharma
Dr Niyati Sharma (MBBS | FACD | MPH) is a qualified Dermatologist and is a fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. She is also a consultant dermatologist at the Box Hill Hospital, and the Monash Medical Centre. She is also the founder of Inside Out Dermatology.
Raised in Melbourne, Dr Sharma undertook her undergraduate medical degree (MBBS) at Adelaide University before coming back to Melbourne to undertake her internship at Royal Melbourne Hospital. After a few years of working in different parts of Australia, including remote areas, she decided to specialise in Dermatology.
As part of her 4 year post graduate training, Dr Sharma spent one year in Singapore at the National Skin Centre learning the nuances of treating Asian skin and their diseases. After finishing her Dermatology fellowship exams (FACD), Dr Sharma undertook a sub-speciality fellowship at Ann & Robert Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago in paediatric dermatology. This institution is a world leader in treating children’s skin diseases. Dr Sharma worked under the guidance of Professor Mancini and Professor Amy Paller, two prominent figures in dermatology.
Dr Sharma has also undertaken her Masters of Public Health (MPH), specialising in nutrition, policy and advocacy, at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, USA. Dr Sharma opened Inside Out Dermatology to help patients approach their skin diseases in a wholistic manner.
Awards
Dr Sharma was awarded an Eddington Scholarship, which enabled her to travel to St Johns Institute of Dermatology, UK a world-renowned paediatric dermatology centre. Later she was awarded the Florence Bequest and the Endeavour Executive Fellowship Award undertaking clinical fellowship in Chicago at Ann Lurie Children’s Hospital (Northwestern University) in paediatric dermatology.
Publications
Dr Sharma is a published author in international dermatology literature including the Australasian Journal of Dermatology and has presented her research at dermatological conferences. She has also part of the expert group panel for the Dermatology Therapeutic Guidelines book.

Dr Adam Daunton
Dermatologist
Dr Adam Daunton is a British-trained dermatologist with a medical degree from the University of Birmingham and specialist training in Manchester, UK. There, he collaborated with Professor Christopher Griffiths on groundbreaking biologic treatments for psoriasis and eczema and co-managed a UCARE-accredited specialist urticaria clinic.
Board-certified in the UK since 2019, Dr Daunton moved to Australia in 2022, earning his FACD certification. He serves on the editorial board of Clinical & Experimental Dermatology and the British Association of Dermatologists Therapeutics & Guidelines Sub-Committee.
Dr Jon-Paul Chamoun
BSc MBBS (Hons) FRACGP
He graduated with honours from the University of Melbourne and holds an Advanced certificate in skin cancer from the Australian College of Dermatology.
Known for his thoroughness and clear communication, Dr Chamoun takes the time to understand each patient’s unique concerns. He believes that building trust and mutual respect is essential to delivering high-quality, long-term care.

Dermal clinician
Tamara is a qualified Dermal Clinician with over 5 years of experience within the field since the completion of her studies. Her qualifications include, Diploma of Beauty Therapy, Associates Degree in Applied Health Science and a Bachelor in Applied Health Science (Clinical Aesthetics). Tamara’s aim is to ensure everyone feels their best and is able to gain confidence within their own skin. With a keen understanding that no skin is the same, this ensures that each patient requires and receives a personalised approach from Tamara’s treatments and treatment plans. Tamara educates her patients throughout their skin journey in order to both enhance and achieve the most effective outcome possible.

With a diverse background in Nursing across multiple clinical disciplines in New Zealand and Australia, Celine is dedicated to providing the highest standard of clinical care with a bright and good-humoured approach. She firmly believes in taking the time to truly listen, ensuring each patient feels heard, valued, and supported throughout their skin health journey.
Whether it’s preventative care, skin checks, or treatment support, Celine aims to not only meet, but exceed the expectations of those she cares for.
Celine offers skin cancer detection and surveillance checks, wart and molluscum treatments, biologic treatment support/education for psoriasis and eczema, cryotherapy, total body photography, patch testing, laser treatments (PICO and EXCEL V+) as well as assisting our Dermatologist team with all aspects of procedural care
MARNIE

Marnie Pitts achieved her Bachelor of Nursing at Deakin University in 2008. Since graduating, she has worked a variety of roles in the public health system before choosing to concentrate on Neonatal Care. Marnie completed her certificate in Cosmetic Injectable and Dermal Fillers,with Aesthetics Training Australia. From this, she was able to link her practice with Skin Science Medical Skin Clinic under the wonderful leadership of Dr Mikhail Soutorine. Dr Mikhail has over 30 years of experience in Cosmetic Medicine. He leads a team of committed nurses who strive to deliver their clients optimal results by using the safest, most effective, and current treatments available.

With 15 years of experience in the dermatology field, Val is not only the friendly face you see when you walk into the clinic but also a wealth of knowledge that enriches the patient experience. As our receptionist, Val has mastered the art of combining exceptional customer service with deep industry expertise.
Her dedication to patient care goes beyond answering phones or scheduling appointments, she takes the time to truly understand the needs of each person who walks through the door. Whether it’s offering helpful advice, answering complex dermatology questions, or making sure every patient feels welcomed and heard, Val is always ready to go the extra mile.

Samra
Practice Manager
Samra is the Practice Manager at Inside Out Dermatology, bringing a unique blend of experience and enthusiasm to the field. Although she is new to dermatology, Samra’s background in healthcare is extensive. Prior to joining the dermatology team, she worked in cardiology, where she gained valuable insight into patient care and medical operations. Additionally, Samra is a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, further enhancing her technical expertise and commitment to providing high-quality service.
With her diverse healthcare experience and passion for helping others, Samra is dedicated to ensuring the smooth operation of Inside Out Dermatology, offering excellent patient care and support every step of the way.
